Dog Behavior and How to Tell What They Feel.

In this picture Riptide is calm.
In this picture Shipwreck is very happy.
In this one Riptide sniffs his Mom.

Hey this is Claire. Wait, before we start I want to say sorry that I didn't write a post yesterday . Now we may start. Today we will be talking about different ways to recognize dogs behavior such as the way their ears are pointing like a horse. When their ears are up dogs are usually happy and paying attention. If they are back they hear you and think that they are in trouble. So don't yell if you're dog is right next to you. If you have a loud voice you may damage the dog's hearing if you yell. So start expressing your feeling in some other way then a loud voice.
Now we will be talking about how you can tell with tails. Obviously a wagging tail means "I'm happy!"  When your pup is scared his tail goes between their legs and he'll crouch down to the ground.
The last way I'm going to be talking about is how a dog shows submission. He will lay down and show his belly to the other dog/dogs. He is saying " I am taking a break or I am done for the day or you are in charge."  Now you know some different ways to tell what your dog is feeling. That's it for today! See you on the next post ! Mutts, Pure Breeds, and Crossbreeds.

This is Shipwreck, a Dalmatian Pit bull mix.

This is Riptide, a Black Lab mix.

This is Miley, a Chocolate Lab.

Hey this is Claire on my new blog called the Dogs Diary.com.Today I'm going to be talking about Crossbreeds. Crossbreeds have purebred parents of two different recognized breeds, for example Shipwreck is an Crossbreed because her mom was a Pit bull and her dad was a Dalmatian. Miley is a pure breed because she is all Chocolate Lab. Riptide is a mutt because he is a mix of four different dogs! Here are some different crossbreds, the Golden Doodle, the Lurcher, the Cocker Poo, the Labradoodle, the Labradinger, and the Bull Boxer. Quick question: If you, your neighbor or a friend has an interesting dog please  take a picture and send it to sailaway521@gmail.com. After you do that I'll look through them and choose which three I want to put it into my next post or if you like to draw  please draw one and send it. Just so you know crossbreed, mutt or pure breed dogs are all special. See you on the next post! Claire.
